How we got started


Why did I start Fortune Model Products (FMP)?

FMP was started to make available the very best products to modelers worldwide. I
developed many of these products or used these existing products to enhance my
competitive advantage. Now, these products are available to everyone.

About Mike:

I began flying radio controlled model airplanes at the age of 12. At age 43,I have been
flying for over 31 years. During this time, I have won many fun fly events with both
airplanes and helicopters, including class 3 helicopters at the 1994 US Nationals in
Lubbock, Texas. I have also enjoyed the honor of writing technical articles and reviews for
many of the RC magazines, including RCM, Model Airplane News, RC Report, Rotary
Modeler, and Model Helicopter Technique, where I now serve as Technical Editor. I still
enjoy competing in F.A.I helicopters as well as 3D. I enjoy flying model airplanes too,
mostly fun fly and scale models.
